Notes for Marjorie DUCKERING
Memorial services for Marjorie Cornett, formerly a resident of the Big Sandy area, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson Falls Community Church. Mrs. Cornett, 71, died Sunday in a hospital.
She was born in Kimball, Minn., and came to Montana with her parents in 1912 and married Raynor Henry Cornett in Fort Benton in 1924. They lived in Sunburst until 1923 when they moved to Big Sandy where they farmed until retirement in 1948 when they moved to Thompson Falls. Her husband died in 1971.
Survivors include her sons, Robert and Marlin, both of Big Sandy; one sister, Cora Hunt, Great Falls; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
