Nancy attended Canterbury University, Christchurch where she studied art. After her divorce from Osmond, she married a sheep station owner named Cecil Boase King and moved to the property near Cooma, New South Wales where her son John joined them. She is still alive but frail. (Steve Osmond 28.12.1999)

Osmond attended both Timaru Primary School & Timaru Boys High School. He joined Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd., stock & station agents in Timaru & worked for them for six months. He then became a journalist for two years working for the Timaru ‘Post’. After that, he did a further two years with New Zealand Perpetual Forest Ltd., selling bonds.

From 1926-38 he became a sharebroker on his won account in Christchurch. He then moved to Sydney, Australia where he continued being a sharebroker for anotehr year. In 1939, he joined Shepherd & Co., real estate agent and later formed his own real estate agency when he actually took over the firm of Shepherd & Co., which he ran until he semi-retired in 1979. He was a Lic. REA & Lic. BA and became a Justie of the Peace.

He used to make an annual visit to New Zealand to see his brother & sisters, and his daughter Diane who lived in Auckland. Although unwell, he managed to make the trip to England with his sisters in 1987 to attend the Osmond Reunion. (Steve Osmond)
