The Parish Register records William’s baptism in 1632 and the BT records no William, but a John baptised to William in May 1632. I have recorded the name as William and that John is a transcription error.

Betterice William’s wife remarries 5th Sept 1661 and the parish register records she is a widow from Wainfleet.
