Notes for William DUCKERING
Stamford Mercury, 20 March 1801. Lincoln March 19. A few days ago died at Toathby, near Alford, Mr Wm Duckering, a respectable farmer and grazier.

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Duckering of Tothby in the parish of Alford in the County of Lincoln Grazier_______ I charge all and every my messuages cottages lands tenements and hereditaments situate lying and being in Sloothby in the parish of Willoughby and Hegsthorpe or ________ in the County of Lincoln. And also all and singular my personal ______of what nature or kind so ever with the payment of my just Debts_____ Annuity and funeral expenses and charged and chargeable there with _______ and devise all and every my said messaugescottages lands tenements and Hereditaments to my sister Mary Duckering her heirs and ______ for ever. Also I give and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth the wife of Samuel Goe of Louth in the said County surgeon the sum of ____ hundred pounds to be paid by my Executrix herein after named at the _______ of Twelve Calendar Months next after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto my Servant Samuel Robinson (if he shall be living with me and in my service at the Time of my decease) the sum of one hundred pounds and to my servant Joseph Acrill (if in my service at the time of my decease) the sum of fifty pounds. Also I give and bequeath unto my servants Mary Cheffin and Sarah Goodwin (if living with m and in my service at the time of my decease) the sum of Ten n pounds a piece. Also I give and bequeath unto William Carnley of Alford _______ gentleman the sum of Twenty pounds which said several last _______ legacies. I do hereby will and direct shall be paid by my _______ _______after named at the Expiration of Six calendar months next after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto Ann the wife of ____________ of Louth in the said County Labourer One Annuity or yearly _______ of five pounds for and during the Term of hernatural life to Be paid to her by my Executrix herein afternamed _______ of and Deductions whatsoever by two half yearly equal payments ______ Day of April and the Fourth Day of October in every year the _____ ______ Hereof to begin and be made onsuch of the said Days as they happen next after my decease. Also all the rest and residue of my money and securities for Money Goods Chattels Stock Effects and Estate of what nature or kind soever I give and bequeath unto my sister Mary Duckering herExecutors and Administrators. And I ____ constitute and appointmy said sister Mary Duckering full ____ Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. Hereby revoking all Wills by me at anytime heretofore made. In Witness whereof I hereunto set my Hand and Seal this second Day of _____ in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred.

On the twenty fourth day of March 1801 Mary Duckering Executrixin this Will named was duly sworn and made oath that the said William Duckering did not ______ of Goods, Chattels, of Credits to the amount value of five thousand Pounds, before me. Anthony Eshrigg, Surrogate.
