1993. Duane J. Duckering died Thursday, November 4, 1993, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident.
He was 76, a native of Everett, Wash., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was retired from the Bechtel Corporation and was a consultant at the River Bend Nuclear Power Plant in St. Francisville, La.
He is survived by wife, Ruth Jester Lea Duckering, Baton Rouge; four daughters; and six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by first wife, Lois Funk Duckering.
