Stamford Mercury, 7 December 1860. Samuel Duckering’s Assignment. Notice is hereby given, that by an Indenture dated 26th day of October, 1860, Samuel Duckering, of Fleet, in the County of Lincoln, farmer, Assigned all his Personal property (except wearing apparel) unto Robert Coupland, of Holbeach, in the said county, butcher, and Thomas West Curtis, of the same place, druggist, upon trust, after satisfaction of their own Debts, to apply the residue of the moneys realised in or towards payment of the Debts of such of the other Creditors of the said Samuel Duckering, as should within 14 days after public notice in the Lincoln, Rutland, and Stamford Mercury newspaper signify in writing their willingness to accept the same rateably according to the amount of their respective Debts. And Notice is hereby further given, that all Creditors of the said Samuel Duckering who intend to accept the provisions of the said Indenture, are hereby required to signify such intention and state the amount of their Claims in writing to the said Robert Coupland or Thomas West Curtis on or before the 14th day of December next, otherwise they will be excluded from all benefit under the said Indenture. By oder, Richd. Caparn, Solicitor, Holbeach, 27th November, 1860 to the said Trustees.

Stamford Mercury, 7 December 1860. Holbeach Saint John’s, To be sold by auction, by J C MacDonald, (Under a deed of Assignment) on Monday the 10th day of December, 1860, on the premises of Mr Samuel Duckering, Holbeach St. John’s aforesaid.
The following live stock, oats, hay straw, implements, and other effects, vix: then lists all the items!

Stamford Mercury, 15 February 1861. Holbeach Saint John’s. To be sold by Tender, The whole of the farm buildings belongingto Mr Samuel Duckering, now standing opposite his house, at Holbeach Saint John’s, consisting of Wood & Tiled Barn, 22 feet by 12 feet; Horse Hovel and Chaff House, Wood and partly tiled, 24 feet by 12 feet, with Mangers, Doors, &c.; Wggon Hovel & Beast Sheds, Crew-yard fencing, gates, &c.
The tenders for the whole of the buildings must be sealed and delivered to me, on or before 12 0’clock on Monday the 18th day of February instant, at which time they will be opened, and the highest tender will be accepted.
The money to be paid at the time above stated, and the whole to be removed on or before the 5th april next.

1870. Burials parish of Eston, Yorkshire 1870. Samuel Duckring, abode Normanby, buried January 30th age 53 years.

On his daughter's marriage certificate, Mary Ann, dated 20.5.1880, it records that her father was deceased.
