'This is the Last Will and Testament of me Charles Percy Duckering of 38 Queens Road Leigh-on-Sea in the County of Essex made this tenth day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and fifty. I hereby revoke all Wills by meat any time heretofore made. I appoint Mr Robert Brewer (nephew) to be my Executor, and I direct that all my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expenses shall be paid as soon as possible after my decease. I hereby give and bequeath unto my wife Ethel Augusta Duckering the property No 38 Queens Road Leigh-on-Sea Essex Maps with the contents thereof for her use during her life time and on her decease the whole of the property and contents with the exception of the below mentioned bequests to go to Mr Richard Tufnall of Primrose Knowe Polman Lane Catofield Sussex who is in H.M.Customs Malaya. The freehold house no. 15 Lancaster Road Stroud Green London N4 to Mr Robert Brewer of The Croft Yardley Park Road Tonbridge KENT. Mr Robert Brewer aforesaid the Wills chart which was my mothers wedding present and also the high back chair. Mr Richard Tufnall as aforesaid my share of the land situated at Rayleigh Estate Essex and my gold watch and chain. The rest of my Estate to be divided between my sisters Mrs Tufnall of Primrose Knowe Polman Lane Catsfield and Mrs E. Brewer of The Croft Yardley Park Rd Tonbridge Kent. Charles P. Duckering.'
