1838 The marriage certificate of Joseph and Charlotte Damian, records that they were married on the 5th of January 1838 at a church in the City of London. He was a bachelor, living at Alhallows Barky and working as a tradesman. His father is Thomas, whose occupation is also given as a tradesman. Charlotte's residence is given as Chickerly in Buckinghamshire. (Michael - see copy of certificate on file)

1843 Bell’s Life in London and Sporting Chronicle, 10 December 1843. Advertisement. Puckeridge Hunt. J Duckring begs to inform sporting gentlemen he has a good HUNTING STABLES, STALLS, and loose boxes, at the Saracen’s Head Inn, Ware, Herts, close to the railway station. Gentlmen’s Hunters taken in at Livery, where very care and attention possible will be paid to the horses. Also good Hunters to let.

1850 Assuming this is the same Joseph? Northampton Mercury, 25 May 1850. Wheras a petition of Joseph Duckring, of Wolverton, in the county of Buckingham, Livery Stable Keeper, and Dairyman and Dealer, an Insolvent Debtor, having been filed in the COunty Court of Buckinghamshire, holden at Newport Pagnel, in the said county, and an interim order for protection from the process having been given to the said Joseph Duckring under the provisions of the statutes in that case made and provided, the said Joseph Duckring is hereby required to appear in the said Court to be holden at Newport Pagnel aforesaid, before the Judge of the said Court, on Thursday the 13th day of June, 1850, at One o’clock at noon precisely, for his first examination touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provision of the said statutes. And notice is hereby given, That the choice of Assignees is to take place at the time so appointed.
All person indebted to the said Joseph Duckring, or who have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to John Parrott, the Clerk of said Court, who is the Official Assignee of the estate and effects of the said Insolvent, at the County Court Office, in Union-street, Newport Pagnel, in the said county.
