Notes for Hannah Maria DUCKERING
Hannah Maria was left her father's piano in his will plus any the household goods she desired. Hannah was also given a weekly allowance of twenty shillings. She died a couple of weeks after her father. See her father's will on his file.
Hannah Maria's will records her death at Fulham Road, Middx as the 12th May 1894. Her address is given as 2 1/2 Halkin Street. Probate was to Charles and George Duckering, which the will indicates they were engravers. Her effects were valued at £1309s 4d. The will also indicates that she was a spinster. (MichaelD. 29.6.96)
'THIS IS THE LAST WILLAND TESTAMENT of me HANNAH MARIA DUCKERINGof 2 1/2 Halkin Street, Grosvenor Place in the County of Middlesex, spinster. I hereby appoint my two brothers Charles Duckering and George Duckering to be conjointly the Executots & Trustees of this my will. I hereby give and devise to my brothers aforesaid viz Charles Duckering and George Duckering and my brother Frederick William Duckering all and every property that I may be possessed of at my decease, including all money in the bank or in shares in the house or wheresoever it may be and I desire that the same shall be equally divided among them all my just debts and funeral expenses have been fully discharged - Dated this 7th day of May 1894 - Hannah Maria DUCKERING - Signed by the said Hanah Maria Duckering the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence in the presence of each other and at her request have hereunto subsrcibed our names as witnesses -
