James Christopher "Chris" DUCKERING was born on March 8, 1881 in Boosbeck, North Yorkshire, England. He immigrated on February 12, 1885, with his mother Martha and brothers Thomas William and James Charles, arriving in the United States on the S/S Gallia and was naturalized in 1886. Chris appeared in the census on Jun 12, 1900 and April 29, 1910 in Howell Co., Missouri. He appeared in the census on January 2, 1920 in Henry Co., Missouri. Chris died on September 5, 1963 at the age of 82. He was buried in Maplewood Cemetery, aka: Rickett Cemetery, Brownington, Henry, Missouri. He was never married.
