'This is the last Will and Testament of me Betsy Duckering the Wife of John Duckering of Heighington in the County of Lincoln Platelayer. I appoint my husband and Charles William Stevenson of Orby near Brough in the County of Lincoln, Blacksmith Executor and Trustees of this my Will. I give to my son in law John Grant of number 2 Legsby Avenue, Grimsby, Grocer the legacy or sum of Twenty pounds if he shall be unmarried at the date of my death, but in the event of his remarriage I direct that the said legacy shall fall into and become part of my residuary estate. I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal estate unto my Trustees Upon trust to sell and convert the same into money and out of the moneys so produced to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the legacy bequeathed by this my Will and shall invest the residue of the said moneys with power from time totime to vary the investment and shall stand possessed of thesame and the investments for the time being representing thesame Upon trust to pay the income thereof to my said husband during his life if he shall so long remain a widower and fromand after his death or remarriage (which ever shall first happen) in trust for all my children who being sons attain the age of twenty one years or being daughters attain that age or marry under that age in equal shares and if there shall be only one such child the whole to be in trust for that child Provided always that if any child of mine shall die in my life time leaving a child or children living at my death who being a son attain the age of twenty one years or being a daughter or daughters attain that age or marry under that age then and in every such case the last mentioned child or children shall take and if more than one equally between them the share which his her or their parent would have taken in the residuary trust funds if such parent had survived me and attained the age of twenty one years. In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this fifteen day of Decr one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
