Notes for Mary Elizabeth DUCKERING Nan
Born 1886 ? (Source Ronald D. B. 27.4.1919, via Michael D. B.4.9.1952)

“Amy & Maude are going for a week to Nottingham for Summer holiday to see Lizzie Duckering that was now is Mrs Mather she has nr family & likes the, to go the S.S.A.[Sunday School Annual] is over it was a serious good service & fairly well financially, the quarterly meeting is held at Barkwith on the 25th - the refreshment will be in the Chapel. “ This note is taken from a letter written by Emma (nee Cade) Duckering to her son Herbert in Canada 11th June 1913. Amy & Maude are two of Emma’s daughters. It is clear the Duckering kin folk know each other.

Mary's sister Edith Alice's will records Mary Elizabeth Mather, her sister receiving £50. See copy on file. (Michael 22.1.97)
