Thomas was baptised on the 21st of March 1787. Thomas was a bell ringer and a regular church attender at Tisbury.

Clock and watch maker. Thomas made the long case clocks, inscribed 'T.Osmond, Tisbury'.

Thomas was sufficiently well off to purchase 'Kipple's Mead' and build his own house in 1828.
