2014. Obituary. STOKES, GWEN Gwen Elaine Stokes, age 79, of Grant, formerly of Grand Rapids and Walled Lake, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald. She is survived by her children, Steve (Lori Tendick) Stokes, Kenneth (Jean) Stokes, Roxanne (Loren) Bell, Sheila (Chuck Monroe) Duckering; sister, Phyllis (Terry) Weaver; grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Hoffman, Kortney (Frank) Cox, Nicholas (Tricia) Stokes, Dr. Casey Stokes, Trisha (Danny) Wheaton, Laura (Carl) Trosien, Tracey (Floyd White) Nelson, Marcie (Michael Schofer) Nelson, Theodore Nelson; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Gavin, Payton, Braylon, Logan, Caidon, Cole, Taylor, and Samantha. At Gwen's request a private graveside service was held by her family.
