These notes are from John Davison by email 4th Dec 2005.
Samuel Duckering ROBINSON, born 1839, died 29th Nov 1871, South Elkington, burial 2nd Dec 1871 Stewton.
25.7.03 from NBI, Samuel Duckering ROBINSON buried Stewton 2nd Dec 1871, aged 32. So born 1839.
From his name, he must be a son of Samuel Duckering ROBINSON & Charlotte.
His will is for Samuel Duckering ROBINSON of Goxhill, Wills 1872/i/419.
In 1871 he might be at Stewton, Ref 3404/50. Or Goxhill, in Glanford Brigg District..
6.8.03 he has an MI at Stewton, for Samuel D ROBINSON, died 29th Nov 1871. However in the 1871 Census, he is not at Stewton, nor at Gloxhill which was given as his abide in the Wills Index. Finally, from the Will (see below), he was said to have been ‘late of South Elkington’, but he wasn’t there either! So dont know where he was in April 1871…
His will was made 19th June 1868:-
