Inventory of the Personal Estate of the late Alexander Lewis - At Peebles the sixth day of December nineteen hundred and four the forename of Charles Cornelius Macousshie Esquire Advocate Sheriff of the Sheriffdom of the Lothians and Peebles Appeared Messrs Cairus McMcTosh & Morton Writers to the Signatory Edinburgh and gave in the inventory hereinafter written desiring that the same might be registered in the Books of said Sheriffdom which desire the said judge found reasonable and ordained the sum to be done accordingly whereof the ? follows ? inventory of the Personal or Moveable Estat and Effects wheresoever situated of the late Alexander Lewis, farmer Halmyre Deans, in the Parish of Newlands, Peeblesshire, who died at Halmyre Deans aforesaid on the twenty seventh day of September nineteen hundred and four.
