Notes for Mary
Mary is recorded as the wife of Thomas when their son Thomas is baptised in 1660. Thomas was the only one named when the four other children were baptised born before Robert in 1652 - therefore assumed they married abt 1650.
Notes for Thomas (Spouse 1)
I have assumed Thomas is the son of William & Alize Duckering as there are no other William’s in WSM married and of age to have children. I have assumed that Thomas baptised Dec 1620 predeceased this Thomas baptised Sept 1626.
Thomas baptised 24th Sept 1626 is recorded in the Parish Register, but not the BT. In the BT it records Elizabeth baptised on the 24th Sept 1626 (‘Elizabeth Duckering daughtr of Willm Duckering was bapt the 24th day of September 1626’). Have have assumed this to be a transcription error and Thomas is correct.
Mary was a widow when she died, therefore Thomas died before 1673. Therefore I have assumed Thomas buried 1666 is this Thomas and they do not refer to him as a son of anyone, which implies he is the senior mail in the household. In addition when William the son of Thomas & Mary is buried in 1671 the Parish Register records William as the son of Mary and the BT records Mary as a widow.
