ASHBAUGH: Elizabeth (Fry). A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Red Deer, Alberta, Elizabeth Ashbaugh passed away at the Village Long Term Care Residence, Ridgetown, Ontario on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the age of 79. Born in Brampton, Ontario, daughter of the late Ernest and Althena (Smith) Lewis. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Douglas O. Fry and the late Wayne Ashbaugh. Dear mother of Peg Wilbee (Peter) of Ridgetown, Jean Duckering (Vic) of Red Deer, Chris Fry (Mary) of Red Deer and predeceased by her son Doug Fry and her brother Jack Lewis. Grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 6. Sister of Hazel Ritchie of Wingham, Ontario. Sister-in-law of Florence Fry of Harriston, Ontario, and Audrey Lewis-Stephenson of Wingham, Ontario. Cremation has taken place with interment in Wingham Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Red Deer, Alberta at a later date, to be announced.
