PETERS, Beatrice Gladys - Born February 25, 1917 in Drayton, Ontario passed away April 27, 2012 peacefully at Leisureworld Norfinch in North York where she received excellent care and attention in her final years. Sister of Marjorie Harris, biological Mother of Kenneth Wayne Mann and Aunt of Lynda Paul, Aunt Bea is survived by her 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Aunt Bea was predeceased by her mother Margaret Duckering, sisters Grace, Anne, Jessie and her husband Donald Peters. Aunt Bea lived in St. Catharines for most of her life and was happily a manager at Beatties Office Supplies. For the past 10 years, she has lived in Toronto and was, for some of those years, joined by close childhood friend William Shay. At her request, there will be no funeral or viewing and cremation has occurred. Friends are asked to remember her in their thoughts. Published in the Toronto Star on April 28, 2012
