Mary Catherine Duckering, age 56, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint. Memorial Service will be held at 1PM July 20, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Holly, with Pastor Ed Pedley officiating.
Mrs. Duckering was born in Flint, MI on August 29, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Vivian) Plew. She was a member of the Richfield Church of Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; one son, Timothy (Susanna) Duckering of Louisiana; brothers and sisters, Carol Bowen of Durand, Robert Plew, Jr. of Mt. Morris, Anita (Ken) Yerian of Mt. Morris, Karen Plew of Mt. Morris, Barbara (John) Goings of Holly, Gary (Debbie) Plew of Holly and Wendy (Randall) Fishback of Holly. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Leisha Faith; parents, Robert and Phyllis Plew; two special sisters-in-law, Janet and Cathy Plew and father-in-law, Robert B. Duckering.
