Jimmy was a Second Lieutant when he married and prior to that inthe employee of Lincoln Corporation. After his dischargefrom the services at the end of World War Two, the familywent to live in Kenya for 32 years. He was a Major in theKing's African Rifles. He later became the mayor and secretaryof Nairobi. He earned an OBE and and MBE. The family returnedto England prior to James retiring. (C Hayes 11.9.97)
