On Dec. 31, 1947, at 97, Repton-road, West Bridgford, Notts, the residence of her daughter, Nellie, the beloved wife of the late Arthur Duckering (formerly of Quarn-drive, Allestree, aged 67 years. Funeral Saturday, from 5, Bromley-street; service and internment Quarndon Churchyard at 2.30p.m.

1945. Derby Daily Telegraph, 24 September 1945. Deaths. Duckering. On Sept. 23, at “Arnell,” Quarn-drive, Allestree. Arthur, the beloved husband of Nellie Duckering, aged 63 years. Funeral Wednesday, service St Paul’s Church, Quarndon, 11.0a.m., prior to internment in the Churchyard.

'THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me ARTHUR DUCKERING of 171 Leacroft Road Derby England in the County of Derby made this fourteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four. I HEREBY REVOKE all Wills made by me at any time heretofore. I APPOINT -- to be my executor and direct that all my debts and funerall expensesshall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH unto my devoted wife Nelly Duckering all of which I die possessed of. Should she predecease me I bequeath all to my dear daughter Doris Duckering. ARTHUR DUCKERING

Duckering Edwin Hough, Pattern in the presence of us present at the Cutter, 21 Portland same time who at his request in his Street, Derby. presence and in the presence of each Charles Frederick Horton other have subscribed our names as Lithographer, 21 witnesses Portand St, Derby. On the 3rd day of December 1945 Administration with this will annexed of the estate of the testator was granted at Nottingham. This is a correct copy.' (See file for copy). Admin. This marriage was solemnized between us Arthur Duckering, Nelly Willcocks in the presence of us Thomas Clarke Duckering, Lizzie Duckering.
