Notes for Thelma DUCKERING
Thelma is the daughter of Charles and Mary, born on the 5th of December 1918. Thelma married Ray Ward and died aged 27, while giving birth to their first child. The child did not survive. They lived in Rochdale. (Joan Tel. 28.1.97)

Thelma also served in the WRAF as a radio operator and can be seen on WW2 section in full uniform. She had a sister Joan who is seen with her.

This photo shows the Duckering sisters of 77 Bessemer St., Thelma served as a radio operator in the UK and was then posted to Cairo where she met and married husband Ray an airman .
