Nottingham Evening Post, 8 August 1987. Collapse. Harold Duckering, 79, of Russell Court, Derby Road, Long Eaton, collapsed and died at the wheel of his car after stopping on the A153 at Ancester, near Grantham.

Vicky recollects that Harold had other brothers and sisters. Ron, Jim, Florence, Eileen and another brother, plus that their mother was Flo and Harold's fathers third wife. She also recollects that there was mention of some mental illness amongst some of the brothers and sisters. (Vicky tel. 22.1.96)
