Lincolnshire chronicle, 31 March 1882. Deaths. Duckering. At 46 Monks’-road, Lincoln, Wednesday, March 29th, Sarah Isabel Duckering, aged 23 years. Friends will kindly accept this intimation.
'This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Isabel Duckering of the City Of Lincoln, Spinster. I appoint my Brother Charles Duckering of the City of Lincoln Iron and Brass Founder sole Executor of this my Will. And I devise all my real estate and bequeath all my personal estate, monies and securities for money unto the said Charles Duckering, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns he paying there out my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and the Legacies herein after named, which I bequeath in manner following. I bequeath to my Aunts Elizabeth Healey and Hannah Atkin the sum of Ten pounds each and to my Cousins Elizabeth Thorpe and Rachel Bescoby the sum of Ten pounds each and I direct that the said Legacies shall be paid to the Legatees respectively at the end of twelve calendar months next after my death. I bequeath the sum of Fifty pounds unto and equally between and amongst such children or to an only child as the case may be of my Sister Elizabeth Jane Haywood as shall attain the age of twenty one years and to be paid and payable as and when they respectively shall attain that age. I bequeath the sum of Fifty pounds unto and equally between and amongst such of the children or to an only child as the casemay be of my sister Mary Kate Patrick as shall attain the age oftwenty one years and to be paid and payable as and when they respectively shall attain that age. And I bequeath the sum of Fifty pounds unto and equally between and amongst such of the children or to an only child as the case may be of my Brother the said Charles Duckering as shall attain the age oft wenty one years and to be paid and payable as and when they respectively shall attain that age. And I revoke all prior Wills In witness whereof I the said Sarah Isabel Duckering the Testatrix have here unto set my hand this fourth day of February One thousand eight hundred and eighty two.

Proved at Lincoln the sixteenth day of June 1882 by the oath of Charles Duckering the Brother the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted.
The Testatrix Sarah Isabel Duckering was late of the City of Lincoln Spinster and died on the twenty ninth day of March 1882 at the City of Lincoln aforesaid Gross personal Estate £15 14 3Frederick Andrew Solicitors Lincoln. I do hereby certify this to be a correct copy Lincoln 22nd June1882.'
Sarah's will records she died on the 29th March 1882 at Lincolna nd her will was proved by her brother Charles, who was the sole executor. Estate £15 4s 3d. (Michael D. 29.6.96)
