1921 Isabel is employed by Johnson Brothers as the manageress of a dyers and cleaners’ shop in Keighley (Email Kate Mawer 16.2.25)

1923 In July 1923, Isabel married Ernest Guy Booker, known as Guy. Guy, a goldsmith, gave his home residence as West Lynn, a suburb of Kings Lynn. The witnesses at the wedding were all of Isabel’s surviving immediate family. (Email Kate Mawer 16.2.25)

1928 It is said that it was Isabel’s younger brother, Bill, that started Isabel off in art. When in Kings Lynn, with Guy, she was learning woodwork and silversmithing skills. There in 1928, Isabel and Guy had their daughter, Anne. The family then moved to Chesterfield, where Guy taught art and craft. (Email Kate Mawer 16.2.25)
