T/325394, Rank Driver, Name Duckering, H S age 37 enlisted Apr 16/17, Louth, former trade seed merchant. Disability Chronis Gastritis. Statement of case. Date April 1917, place Bradford. Reported sick to ? Bradford on April 27th 1917 complaining of cough pain in left side & vomiting. Was admitted into St ? War Hospital on May 9th 1917 suffering with persistent vomiting & pain in left side just over the left surface of spleen. Was detained in hosp for 6 week. Re? on ?M D S ? examine for TB with negative result. ? ? ate vomiting of partly digested food, probably neurotic in origin. condition impaired, discharge to duty since ? 1917 was in poor health up till 26.10.17 when he was admitted into Bradford ? Military Hospital suffering with a temp varying from 99-102F. There was vomiting anorexia & tenderness over the appendix. While still in hospital on ? 16th 1917 he was brought before the Full Board who recommended his discharge. Cause unkown, condition aggravated by ordinary military service, 28 Nov 1917.
